I am President of Friends of Silcox Hut, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Silcox Hut, an historic hut on Mount Hood near Timberline Lodge.

I am a Director and Treasurer of The Bread Bakers Guild of America, a nonprofit providing educational resources to artisan bakers in the United States and internationally.

I am also a Commissioner on the Board of Commissioners of the Palatine Hill Water District, my neighborhood water district.
